Wildcards in Word
A recent Lifehacker post drew my attention to a feature in Microsoft Word 2007 that I didn't even know existed; namely the ability to use wildcards while searching for text. I can't believe that I never thought about even trying it out before!
The example in the post uses the wildcard to search for acronyms using the search string <[A-Z]{2,}> which searches for and highlights all uppercase words in the document.
You can get the complete Microsoft documentation on this feature here.
